Teaching Tip: Always teach the letter name and letter sound together. Never  separately. Studies have found that there is little value in teaching  preschoolers letter forms or letter sounds separately. Other  studies   have found that children receiving letter name and sound  instruction were most likely to learn the sounds of letters whose  names included cues to their sounds. If you'd like to teach your child become a successful reader, and have 5 to 10 minutes to spare each day Studies have found that when kids begin school with a solid foundation of reading skills, they will continue to achieve success in reading and learning new skills. These children generally enter school with a good knowledge of the alphabet, have some conceptual knowledge of print, and have developed some level of phonemic awareness. PART 1 Practice the following steps religiously, and exams will be nothing to worry about. 1 Review your syllabus.  Figure out when all of your exams will be and how much of your grade they are worth. Put these dates into your calendar or planner so they don't sneak up on you! ·          Plan review sessions beginning at least a week in advance of each exam. Ideally, you'll do several mini-reviews well in advance, gradually increasing the time in which you study, rather than trying to cram everything into one mega session the night before the test. 2 Pay attention in class.  This seems like a no-brainer, but actually paying attention while you're in class will help you immensely once exam time comes.
